Congratulations to Margot Emery of Northampton who has won the ViewRanger GPS tool for her mobile phone.
Augmentra Ltd has donated ViewRanger, a package of software and Great Britain mapping worth £150 which turns a GPS enabled phone into a fully featured 'off-road-sat-nav'. It offers far more than a map on a phone. Routes can be planned directly onto its digital OS maps or annotated trail guides may be accessed from the ViewRanger route library.
ViewRanger is popular for all kinds of outdoor recreational activites - on land, on water and in the air. It is also used and relied upon by outdoor professionals including Search and Rescue teams and field workers.
